I Finally Created a Display for My RunDisney Running Medals

Let’s Be Honest… I Had No Idea What to Do With My RunDisney Medals
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a drawer or maybe a box filled with race medals. Each one brings back memories of early mornings, sore muscles, finish lines, and RunDisney snack boxes. Although I fear I might be the only person that hates that plastic cheese in those boxes, but I digress.
For a long time, I didn’t do anything with my medals. Not because I wasn’t proud, but because I couldn’t find a way to display them that actually liked. Those metal displays were nice and all, but I wanted this display to be a wow factor!I wanted more than just a row of hooks. I wanted something that could grow with me, that felt intentional, and that reflected the story behind each medal.
So I designed a grid-style display I could expand over time. I made interchangeable toppers so I could switch things out depending on the race or season. I even added space for race photos or bibs, especially for those events that really meant something special.
And maybe the biggest thing? I actually liked how it looked on the wall. It felt like something I was proud to show off.
If You’re Ready to Create Your Own Display
Once I made my own, I realized other runners were looking for the same kind of solution. So I started offering my displays in my shop, hoping to help others get their medal collection hung.
If you’re ready to do something special with your medals, you can explore the Running Medal Display Collection below. Whether you want something minimal or a design with a Disney twist, there’s something for every type of runner.
